Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 9, 2026

Project Parker helps comic retailers prepare Shopify product drafts from distributor final order cutoff data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how merchants can contact us about privacy requests.

Information We Collect From Shopify

When a merchant installs Project Parker, Shopify provides installation details that let us connect the app to the merchant's Shopify store. This can include the shop domain, granted access scopes, access token, and app installation status.

Project Parker uses Shopify API access to read or create product-related data needed to prepare comic preorder listings, including product titles, variants, images, prices, vendors, tags, product metadata, and draft product status.

Information We Collect From Merchants

Merchants may provide account details such as name, email address, store information, and connected platform settings when creating or managing a Project Parker account. We also keep operational records such as sync status, onboarding state, and app activity logs so we can provide support and operate the service.

Buyer And Customer Information

Project Parker is designed to prepare product drafts for merchants. It does not intentionally collect buyer payment information or customer profile information from a merchant's shoppers. If Shopify sends buyer or customer information to us through required privacy workflows, we use that information only to respond to the request.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Authenticate Shopify installations and connected merchant accounts.
  • Generate, update, and sync Shopify product drafts requested by merchants.
  • Provide support, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal or platform obligations.
  • Process billing and subscription status for merchants who choose a paid plan.

Retention

We keep merchant account, installation, sync, and billing records for as long as needed to provide Project Parker, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain reliable business records. When a merchant uninstalls the app or asks us to delete data, we delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed. We may retain limited records when necessary for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, trial-abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements. Where practical, we minimize those records, such as by retaining de-identified or hashed identifiers instead of full account data.

Sharing And Service Providers

We do not sell merchant or buyer personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, operate, secure, and support Project Parker. Those providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.

Data Transfers

Project Parker is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

Merchant Privacy Requests

Merchants can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information. We will review and respond to requests as required by applicable law and Shopify platform requirements.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep Project Parker reliable and privacy-conscious.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as Project Parker changes or as legal and Shopify platform requirements evolve. The "Last updated" date shows when this policy was most recently revised.
